Introduction
Basalt fabric is woven by basalt fiber, plain and twill appearance, inherited the excellent chemical stability of basalt fiber, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, high and low temperature performance, flame retardant performance, is a relatively new material, the manufacturing process is more environmentally friendly and less pollutingthere is a trend to replace the glass fiber, lower cost than carbon fiber, suitable for mass manufacturing use.
The range of applications for this new material continues to expand, and is environmentally friendly and cost saving.
The production of the products we offer is supervised and guided by technicians with many years of experience and consistent quality.
We can provide narrow width or custom products.
Welcome inquiry.
Heat protection
Friction materials
Windmill blades
Lamp posts
Ship hulls
Car bodies
Sports equipment
Speaker cones
Cavity wall ties
Rebar
Load bearing profiles
CNG cylinders and pipes
Absorbent for oil spills
Chopped strand for concrete reinforcement
High pressure vessels (e.g. tanks and gas cylinders)
Pultruded rebar for concrete reinforcement (e.g. for bridges and buildings)
Basalt fiber
Basalt fiber is a material made from extremely fine fibers of basalt, which is composed of the minerals plagioclase, pyroxene, and olivine.
It is similar to fiberglass, having better physicomechanical properties than fiberglass, but being significantly cheaper than carbon fiber.
It is used as a fireproof textile in the aerospace and automotive industries and can also be used as a composite to produce products such as camera tripods.
